it promotes superficial self-obsession. He would never use it. He is more inclined towards different social networking sites for example Twitter.
According to Ed, IG is simply a cesspool of vanity. He despises the constant need for validation. To him, IG encourages an unhealthy focus on appearance. He is convinced in authentic relationships. He refuses to spend a minute on Instagram's polished facade. Instead, he invests his energy to more productive endeavors. Whether Ed is engaging in intellectual discussions, his aversion to Instagram is steadfast.
